Omni Directional Aerials are ideal for focussing a signal to a small area. There are two main uses for these say for example a public hotspot wishing to give long range coverage of an outdoor area but with limited area such as a garden or patio. Another use for directional aerials is to focus all the signal into a very tight point and aimed at another building in the distance. Directional aerials are also idea for caravan parks to link caravans or chalets to a central location to connect to the Internet.

Distances of 20Km or more can be obtained using this method and is ideal for linking buildings together.
