ADSLWhether you have an 512KBs, 1MBs or 2MBs connection to the Internet, ADSL always uploads to the Internet at 256KBs. If your company needs to increase the output to the Internet then we suggest that you look at our SDSL options. Static IPs and Contention rates on SDSL are in two options, 50:1 and 20:1 depending on your requirements.
Load BalancingIf the costs of SDSL are too high yet you need a higher data bandwidth than ADSL can offer. Equinox offer solutions whereby you can connect many ADSL connections together to work as a single connection. This is called load balancing and is a cost effective way to increase bandwidth way beyond SDSL at a fraction of the monthly cost.
SDSLSDSL is synchronous therefore the speed that the connection is connected to the Internet is also the uplink speed. For instance a 1MBs connection can download and upload to the Internet at 1MBs at the same time. Static IPs and Contention rates on SDSL are in two options, 10:1 and 1:1 depending on your requirements.
