achieve this, our solution consists of a number of building blocks that have
been exclusively developed by and for Satellite Internet Broadband.
Internet Data Centre A
state-of-the-art Internet Data Centre (IDC) situated inside one of Europe’s
leading telecommunication centres. Providing secure, reliable and high
performance access to our range of fully managed services. The data centre is
directly connected to the Internet backbone via high capacity fibre-optic
connections and with multiple redundancies operating at all levels of the
network. The facility also houses the Network Operations Centre staffed by
qualified and experienced engineers who pro-actively manage and monitor every
aspect of our backbone network all day, every day.

Customer Service is available around the clock, 365days a year, and is staffed
by an experienced multilingual team, offering extensive support for all our
services throughout Europe.
Uniquely, the first line customer service team, reside at the same location as
the Network Operation Centre and the network technical team who deal with all

DVB-RCS is the European open standard, endorsed by ETSI, offering superior
performance capabilities, greater reliability with key economic benefits
associated with multiple vendor choice. High performance, Pan-European service
coverage is made possible through the use of Atlantic Bird™ 2, Eutelsat’s second
generation geo-stationary Satellite Internet at 8 degrees West.
Customer Premise Equipment (CPE)
Data services require no additional hardware investment. Unlike traditional
service providers everything is included. Our professional installation teams
will secure, on a suitable exterior area, a discrete 75cm Satellite Internet
dish and this is connected to a unique second generation ARC Linux Server with
an in-built Satellite Internet modem. The ARC acts as the gateway to all the
distinctive elements of the service including; full security and full business
Internet services. In addition, the ARC includes, an email server and full
anti-virus features with automatic updates. It also delivers the administrator
interface for the management and configuration of all the network data services
including; Port forwarding, Email accounts and VPNs.
